lol, but i have to agree based on my few weeks as a Gigabyte owner (Z77x UD3H)

Hi,

I just flashed my board with the latest BIOS which is UEFI. What should I set the following BIOS settings to if I'm using MBR?

- Boot Mode Selection
- Storage Boot Option Control
- Other PCI Device ROM Priority

Should these all be set to 'Legacy Only'?

Unless you are actually wanting to install and boot UEFI mode then yes.

If you want UEFI install then obviously set "UEFI first" or "UEFI only"

I recently did a WIN7 X64 Install in UEFI mode with my board (Z77 UD3h) and beta bios F19j.
Boot time was sweet, but had a few BSOD's in the OS, which were solved when all my drivers were installed though.

Was that impressed by the boot times that I got Win8 x64 now !!
Under Win8 the boot times are equally as good, but not better as I was expecting, but thankfully there was no BSOD's after installing the OS.

The thing to NOT mess with on Gigabyte boards though is the "Fastboot" option....boy your in a world of pain if you touch that.
