I have a GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev 1.1) and had been using the F9 BIOS, and had the OnChip SATA Type as AHCI and it had been running fine under Windows 8 Pro 64 bit but I read hear that Corsair has a new ToolBox for their SSD's so I thought I would update my BIOS to the new BETA F10a that says Update AHCI ROM version and then install the Corsair Toolbox.
I didn't get far,
I loaded Optimized Defaults and then flashed F9 to F10a and then loaded Optimized Defaults and Booted into Windows.
So next I changed my OnChip SATA Type from IDE to AHCI and Windows starts to load but says it ran into a problem and reboots loop.
So I went back to F9 but any time I switch from IDE to AHCI Windows won't boot.
What can I do ?
I have a nice fast Corsair SSD running in IDE.
I'm hoping their is a solution.
