NTFS Bootable USB Problem

Hi everyone, I'm starting this topic because I have a strange problem.. I created my personal Windows 8 ISO, with all the updates and office 2013 integrated, used wintoolkit and winreducer to remove the things I don't need and rebuilt my iso.. i then created an USB stick in NTFS and rebooted my PC, but when i try to boot from usb (USB-HDD or ZIP) i get the error "a disk error occurred press ctrl+alt+del to restart". I tried many programs to format my USB stick but no luck.. i then tried to put my USB stick in my notebook and it booted just fine, without problems..

I assume it is a BIOS related problem, so can you help me fix this issue?

My specs:

MoBO: GIGABYTE P43T-ES3G (REV. 1.3) BIOS F7 (F8 gives me problems with overclock)
SSD: Samsung 840 Basic 250GB
HDD: WDD 250GB
Bios setting: AHCI

Is there a new beta bios or something like that?

I think that NTFS format on your usb drive is the problem.
Check out How To Install Windows 8 From a USB Device
A google search using: how to make a bootable usb windows 8 should provide additional links if needed.
Others have used the free HP usb tool to create a bootable windows usb installation drive.

it's not an NTFS problem, since as i said above i am able to run setup through the same stick with the same iso on another pc.. it must be bios related..

Are you pressing F12 while booting to get to the boot device menu?
If you are using a front usb port, try using one of the usb ports on the rear I/O panel.

Go into your bios and look for a setting in Integrated Peripherals called USB Legacy Storage Detect and make sure that it is enabled.
Save settings and exit the bios.
If it is disabled, you can't boot from a usb device.

it is enabled.. i am able to boot a fat32 usb stick to install a system, but not ntfs..

I'm going to test booting with a usb flash drive tomorrow on my P35 system to see if I have any similar problems.
I'll be testing with a win7 iso installation file.

remember to use NTFS file system.. with fat32 it works for sure..

I will use NTFS, using Fat32 wouldn't help you at all.

Creating and booting with my bootable NTFS formatted usb flash drive is easy, once you've figured out how many hoops you need to jump through.
Loading Optimized Bios defaults in the bios to temporarily run my system at stock speeds was the key step with my overclocked P35 system. It might have also helped when I initially set First, Second, and Third Boot Devices each to USB-HDD in the Advanced Bios Features bios window. I also changed Hard Disk Boot Priority so that USB-HDD was at the top of Boot Priority List. I didn't need to press F12 while booting to bring up Boot Device selection menu.

I used an Adata S102 16GB usb 3.0 drive in the rear I/O panel's usb 2.0 port.
The bootable ISO image file is from my win7 Home Premium 64-bit installation dvd.

Creating the bootable NTFS formatted flash drive used the free Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.

In the attached picture, the 3.0GB win7 ISO file had been copied to a non-bootable DVD.
