I just built a htpc using the H77M-D3H and I'm not getting audio thru the onboard hdmi connection. Using the supplied software for audio configurations I have gone through every combination possible with no luck. I can get audio using the rear audio jack, but I'm trying to eliminate the use of external speakers since this is connecting to a tv in the bedroom.

right clicked the white speaker icon/playback devices and see if hdmi or your tv screen icon is showing in there,you might need to enable/set it as default to get sound from onboard hdmi portGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

Thanks, I tried that as well but it didnt show my tv until I installed an Intel HD audio driver that wasn't mentioned in the documentation.Comment
