Gigabyte GA-H61N-USB3 PCI Issue

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but the motherboard is a variable that can be changed. I tried to standardize my build of 20 pcs on this board, but the issues are too much.


Build:
Gigabyte GA-H61N-USB3
Intel i3 2200
4gb RAM
AverTV PICe Card
32GB SSD
Windows 7


The install of Win7 is fresh.
The avermedia card works after install and then within a certain variable time after -- it stops working (it's a TV card)
It actually will say "no signal" even though the source (cable box) is still connected and can be plugged into a TV and works without issue


I've tried multiple cards - same result
I've tried multiple motherboards - same result


Power on board is 350W -- which is plenty for what I am doing.


I am building systems for clients and need to understand what I am missing here.


I looked in the power settings and can't see anything about PCI turning off after a certain time.
I used to use a Zotac board and never had an issue.


The drivers for the avermedia card are the latest.


And the bios I am using for the motherboard is F8


I'm really at a loss... and tried everything I can think of.


Suggestions?

Update: After reboot the "tv" stayed on for about 43minutes and then the software said "no signal"

if its turning off after so many minutes then chances are its entering power saving and turning off pcie slots

look in here and select never and see if it fixes things

It is verified and set at off

The time it's going to turn off varies

After it turns to 'no signal' -- if I close the program and open it up again -- it still can't find the signal

So once it's lost, it's lost -- which in my mind would mean that the PCI Slot is being turned off, even though that setting is set to off

I even created my own power settings to make sure that none of them went back to 'balanced', etc.

The hard drive is set to never
Sleep is never
PCI is never

Any other ideas would be helpful

I cant think what else it could be,do you have any other pcie slots on that board? tried with those? also try turning off usb3 and/or sata3 just to see if it has any affect on the pcie slots

Thank you. I think I tried everything.

I guess it is possible that a card simply doesn't work with a board -- but it seems odd

I tried rolling back to older versions of the software and driver, but that was ineffective.

There is only one PCIe slot
And I tried to disable USB3 and that didn't work.
I figured I needed SATA for the hard drive

I would try emailing gigabyte and tell them your tv card make/model and motherboard and ask them to try and test with it,explain whats happening and maybe they can fix it in a future bios
