Z77-D3H and Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866mhz RAM

Hi there,

I have just purchased this Corsair 8GB RAM:

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866Mhz Memory Kit.. | Ebuyer.com

The latency is 9-10-9-27, if that makes any difference to compatibility?

This is my board:

I have been told that my Gigabyte Z77-D3H board can clock to 1866mhz to use this ram, however I only see 1600/1333 noted on some sites selling this board, could someone please confirm this for me to keep me assured.

try latest beta bios Z77D3H.19h.zip f19h

or the latest final bios on gigabyte website

tried enabling x.m.p and profile for 1866mhz?

thanks alot mate, will try this, still have a few parts to buy for the rig.

if anyone else knows whether it will surely work or not then please let me know as i can order something else in good time

Ok guys I found this on the Gigabyte website

Support for DDR3 2800(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules

So does that mean its compatible from 1600 up to 2800mhz or only 1600 and 2800?

all the way up to 2800mhz,might be higher with various speeds inbetween,just pick 1866mhz from the list or enable x.mp and 1866mhz profile
