  • My graphics card and my Z77X-UP7.

    What is my problem?
Well for months I've been buying components for my computer mount.
    This is my first team:
    i7-3770k (Noctua NH-D14)
    GA-Z77X-UP7
    4x8GB G.Skill Trident X 2400 Mhz.
Gigabyte GTX 680 OC 2 GB.
    2xVertex 4256 GB
    1xW.D. Caviarn Black 640 GB
    1xBarracuda 7200.14 1TB 1xSeagate
Sound Card Sound Blaster Xi-Fi Titanium HD
F.A. Cooler Master Pro Gold 1000W

Well I had problems with the graphics card. When put in so Gen3 (PCIe 3.0 x16) gave me errors nvidia Kernell. In so Gen2 (PCIe 2.0 x16) without any problems.
I tried my old motherboard GA-Z68-UD7-B3, and the graphics card was not a problem. Of course, this works in PCIe 3.0 x8 mode (which is the same as 2.0 x16).
Then I changed my graphics card by Gigabyte GTX 690. When I installed the monitor gave me no signal. I tried multiple convinations, but I did not signal (probe another monitor but still).
I said from the service could be that the power supply damaged embers. I bought a Corsair AX1200i, but everything was the same.
Send the GTX 690 for service and there worked perfectly. Then I sent the motherboard. The probed with another GTX 690 and without any problems.
The GTX 690 with the Z68-UD7-B3 and the other components working perfectly, but of course PCIe 3.0 x8 mode.
I can only rule out the processor and RAM, but the RAM not think it is, because initially probe the G. Skill Sniper 1866 MHz (4x4 GB) and the GTX 680 kept giving me the problem.
Can it be that the processor has a bug and does not provide good all pcie lines?
    Any compatibility issues?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: My graphics card and my Z77X-UP7.

Well finally, I made it work the GTX 690. Let the Z77X-UP7 has 5 PCIe 3.0. Has one black, that is direct link (not using the PLX bridge), and 4 that are orange. Well, in the first pcie orange, works perfectly, and also 3.0 x16 mode.
However, the GTX 680 does not work well in PCIe 3.0 x16 (can be the card?), Or the pcie black or orange.
Is design problem, the UEFI BIOS, or the cpu?

I tried the F3, F4, F5g, F5f, F5 and F5o. With all the versions the GTX 680 continues with the same problems. The GTX 690 does not work in the black pcie. The computer works but does not show me the monitor signal when connected to the black pcie. Probe an i5-2300 with the same result.

The driver versions I've tried are: 301.42, 306.23, 306.97, 310.33, 310.54, 310.70 and 310.90. All with the same result. Anyway, the problem of the GTX 690 has nothing to do with the nvidia drivers. The GTX 690 on the black pcie gives no signal on the monitor (not the image of the bios).
