I just got my new mb GA-Z77X-UD5H and i have a major shutdown promblem with this model.
When i press the shutdown button in Windows the board just RESTART !! (Like i press restart button).
The only way to shutdown the pc is to press the case power button.

I have this promblem with bios f14 and
F15q after clean windows install on both.

    Any solution?

In Windows under Power Options in the Control Panel, is the setting set to Shutdown when you press the power button?

does it shut down in windows/start/shut down?

try pressing alt and f10 together and fast/repeatedly at the gigabyte splash screen, this flashes the two bios chips with the same bios version and can help with startup loops and shut downs
