Hello to everyone i have a problem with the GA-Z77X-UD3H and RAM!! I recently...,before 2 days, bought this motherboard, a corsair kit RAM 2x4GB 2000Mhz XMS3 DDR3 with timings 9-11-9-27 and a i7 3770K. I have also a GTX 570 and a corsair 850W. I installed them all good etc. I saw that the memory was running at 1000Mhz in bios and 500~ at CPU-Z. I entered the bios and enabled the xmp profile for the memory and it was saying that now will be at 2000Mhz. I saved and exit the bios but the system shut down and told me when restarted to enter bios because it failed. Anyway the issue is that i can't get it running to 2000Mhz! The only thing i could do after some research and test was to raise it to 1600 and with timings above the normal at 2000Mhz(9-11-9-27). If i try to fix the timings the system does not boot! The motherboard says that support 2000Mhz Ram!! I cannot understand what going on!! Also something i forgot to mention....it had the F8 bios version and i have updated to F18. Can you please help me? Thank you for your time all of you!!

if you saw 1000mhz in cpu-z then it was already running at 2000mhz,you have to double the amount 1000x2=2000mhz in cpu-z as its ddr=double data rateGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

Nop, i said that in bios is ~1000Mhz and at CPU-Z is ~500. So i was running at 1000Mhz and the best i could do was 1600 Mhz in Bios and 800Mhz in CPU-Z.
Thanks

ahh yes you did sorry didnt spot that bit, what dram voltage did you try for 2000mhz? and how much qpi/vtt? you might need between 1.55-1.65v dram and between 1.05-1.10v qpi/vtt,timings can be left on auto for now, your best set them up manually if x.m.p isnt workingGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios
