Well learn something everyday, I too never heard of a Daw interesting thread read tbh., My initial thoughts was it spelled 'Door' open / shut case lol.

Now i understand DAW , why would you want 64gb memory ? I could understand for CAD work being intensive and graphically , but for audio ? I am sure most of that memory would never be used by the system. Oh and the G1 Assassin x79 has usb 3.

Sorry but that is really far from the truth.....

Yes a good audio interface with asio drivers is part of the battle but if someone has not got the processing power to back it up then as soon as you start loading plugins they are in for all sorts of problems they might get away with a few but 60 -100 audio tracks with 100s of plugs .... No chance.

I don't think it's "far from the truth" as you say. I've fought that battle before.
