Re: High temps / BSOD on Prime95

Ok so I have now installed a corsair h60 closed loop water cooler. Big improvement I must say. I'm currently at 4ghz OC - ill put all my settings below, do they seem ok to you guys? Any tweaks that you would advise?

    CPU clock ratio - 19x
    BCLK 210 (ie 3.99ghz)
    QPI clock ratio - 36x
    Vcore - 1.15625v
DVID - +0.19375v (ie 1.35v total if I am right?)
    QPI/Vtt - 1.315v
    LLC - standard (intel spec)

XMP enabled with DDR voltage 1.65v
    RAM at 1680mhz (8x)
    Timings 8-8-8-24
    Command rate 2
    Performance enhance - standard
    Uncore clock ratio at 16x

    HT enabled
Currently turbo / C1E / EIST disabled but will enable eventually

Getting temps around 80C at full load on prime.

Re: High temps / BSOD on Prime95

you should enable eist, that way with dvid the cpu will auto clock down at idle, and full speed at load, saving power and temps

if you dont want cpu to downclock you might aswell not use dvid and set a fixed cpu voltage amount

Ok will do thx. I'm not sure what the "performance enhance" feature does? Worth putting that up or?

It tightens the advanced memory timings I think,if you use higher settings you might need more qpi/vtt voltage
