Hey All,
Recently I had a hard drive failure, it has 1 bad sector on it, and will not longer boot into windows. I got a new hard drive (several at this point) and proceeded to run my windows 7 install disk. The install goes through the whole process as normal until it gets to the last part "completing installation". At this point the computer restarts (as it should) and then even though the drive is detected in the bios and shows up as it is booting up, it keeps going into a restart loop.
This happens with any drive I have tested it with, which leads me to believe it is an issue with the motherboard. Any suggestions?
I currently have F6b bios on there and I tried updating to the F7L one from the gigabyte website however when I get into QFlash it tells me that the size is incorrect.
The hard drives in question are a seagate 2tb sata 6gb/s drive (fails seagate tools tests), a Seagate 1tb hard drive (newest just got it today from best buy), and my original Hitachi Deskstar 1 TB drive ( this is the one with the one bad sector).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
