Hello, This seems like a forum of quite knowledgeable folk so perhaps someone can shed some light on this issue, I've a horrible feeling I'm missing something quite simple but..
I've recently purcahsed the Z77X-D3H board, updated the BIOS to version F9 and performed a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64
The main problem I am having is I can not get the machine to detect when I attempt to attach a SATA/e-SATA drive while the machine is booted. If the device is connected when the machine is first powered up the drive will show up as expected, but not once Windows has booted.
I've done a wide range of swaps from testing the caddies, e-SATA cables, power-supplies and other parts on other machines in different configurations and they work each time except on the D3H board.
I can only test the eSATA connection on the Intel controller as the Marvel is used up providing a RAID0 for the Windows OS (consuming both ports)
Is there something I've missed or does this board not support hot-swapping on SATA devices?
