Re: More problems with my EP45-UD3P
Random boot problems can be caused by a power supply that is failing.
Can you borrow a newer, good quality power supply to test with?
How old is your power supply?
What is the brand name and model number of your power supply?
With an older system there might be corrosion with electrical contacts.
Is there any corrosion on the cmos battery or in the cmos battery socket?
The cmos battery might have voltage that is too low and this might be part of the problem.
Hopefully the problem is not caused by a failing motherboard.
Are any of the screws that secure your motherboard to the computer case loose?
Have you checked to see if all of the hardware, cables and wires are fully seated and that none of the attached hardware is loose?
Were there any recent changes to your system before the first time that your system recently could not boot?
If your system is overclocked, try using standard settings for one morth or longer instead of the overclocked settings.
We need detailed information about ALL OF THE HARDWARE in your system.
We can best help you after you create a detailed hardware list in the System Specs
portion of your forum profile at the bottom of the profile page or in your forum signature.
Be sure to include brand names and model numbers.
When you are done editing or creating your hardware list, save the settings.
