Weel you couldn't change DVID in ET8, but you can change VTT.

hmmmm, ok, well, i uninstalled ET6, went to the gigabyte site for my MB, downloaded ET, reinstalled, still has that weird vcore 1.5+V target thing......strange....

anyways, i'm Linx testing vtt 1.25 now (notched downed from 1.27)

I think if you are stable there is no point messing with 200MHz bclk unelss you aim at 4.2GHz.
You already at 41.4% OC not worth the extra 1.4% of 4GHz, 4.2 is 50% and that's a different story.
I'll check about the progress tomorrow.

I think if you are stable there is no point messing with 200MHz bclk unelss you aim at 4.2GHz.
You already at 41.4% OC not worth the extra 1.4% of 4GHz, 4.2 is 50% and that's a different story.

so, i get vtt down to 1.23 and dvid down to +.06875, notching down and testing with linx (3 passes @ 4096), everything hunky dory right..........nope.........cuz when i figure i'd test with prime95 and ibt, just for the heck of it, before bed........i get stopped workers and errors.....FAIL, FAIL..........haha..............i figured i was good using LinX as the verifier for my voltage changes........but NOOOOOOOOOOO............hahah, oh well, should be easy to remedy, just some time........checking with all three programs, linx, prime, and ibt after each change. ........hay, the ncaa selection show isn't on til 6 anyways, what else would i rather be doin til then ;)

Set VTT to back to 1.27 and run small FFT, more vcore wile sill failing.

dvid .0875 and vtt 1.35 just passed linx, prime and ibt...........might be able to notch down a tick or so.........

Run small FFT first, VTT 1.35, keep lowering DVID untill it fail.
Next large FFT, keep lowering VTT untill it fails.
Then blend for 8-10 hours. If it failes raise DVID if small FFT(< 128) failed or VTT if large failed.
Repeating the failing FFT will save hors of waiting. Click customize, set min and max FFT size to the size that failed, and run again. if passed run default again.

testing 1.33 and .08125 now, prime was good, now testing ibt, then linx
