  • raid drivers

i've read that the raid drivers come preinstalled with vista and windows 7 so there is no need to download and install them during windows 7 installation. is this true?

    thanks.

    Re: raid drivers

true for win7 not sure about vista, they are just the bog standard drivers, its always advised to update them with the latest versions from gigabytes website as it will no doubt improve performance ect,but its easy to update, same as any other driver update

EDIT: just remember to set to raid or ahci/raid mode in the bios before you install the os
