With all BIOS' I've tried after FB, when my system resumes from S3 sleep, the USB ports, at least on the back panel, are dead. Since I have a USB keyboard and mouse plugged into these, it makes it a little hard to shut down the system and restart. It's strange because the USB mouse and keyboard can be used to wake up the system, but as soon as the Windows 7 X64 OS comes back, the mouse and keyboard lights die and both mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. Unplugging and replugging does not bring them back. Since there have been 3 or 4 BIOS updates since FB, is Gigabyte aware of this problem?

SloPoke, I recall having issues with FB resuming from sleep. Have you tried FFb ??? I've been using beta BIOS version FFb since it's release 10/6/2010 and have had no issues resuming from sleep. I know FFb fixed SMART/Sandforce issues. Good Luck. wibujoTHRASHER: Liquid Cooled

Intellimouse optical and dasKeyboard Pro.
This board used to be in a headless server and it had FFb installed. When I started using it for a regular workstation with USB mosue and keyboard is when I noticed the dead USB ports after resume from sleep problem and which prompted me to downgrade it to FB. I'll try FFb again just to make sure. I'd like to use something more recent than FB due to the slow detection of AHCI devices on bootup.Comment
