Re: GA-P55A-UD4 + ultra durable gtx 480 not compatible?
well, i cant flash the cards
the gigabyte flasher tells me the bios does not match the card even though they clearly do
the other one requires iso files, and when i try to build it it tells me i need administrator rights even though i have them and just fails
don't know if you guys know another program or can sugguest a bios that the gigabyte flasher will accept
fortunately i found a workaround to the original problem,
if i install the drivers, set the settings for sli and run a program it works, when i reboot it fails and goes low rez and nv drivers tell me they cant find cards
so, i was reinstalling drivers, but this is the wrong thing to do
at this point i rebooted again, and got my normal resolution and the nv panel working again where i can set sli, again
if i reboot and get the error, ignore it then reboot again it gets stuck in sli mode, and allows me to reboot as i like, which is nearly as good as a fix but if i touch the nv panel it breaks again
also, if i don't do that and manually set sli on when i want it and turn it off when i turn off the pc i avoid the low rez boots too
so i can actually 'use' my pc for now
so, if anyone else has this problem, try that routine for a workaround
