This can work too, just work the references before increasing VTT while it's possible.

Thanks for providing the link to your memory, they sure are ugly.....
....almost as ugly as my new 4x2GB Kingston HyperX T1 memory that's arriving shortly
      I'm not complaining, 8GB of DDR2 1066 (5-5-5-15 @ 2.2 volts) memory for $84 after rebates

          Zache_ signature.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I liked the my PIs until I had to RMA them, the new PI Black I got as a replacement look better IMO.

Ohh ya, I had a set of those once with blue labels, they are kinda iffy looking. You're right, the black ones look nicer, and the new PI's look good too.

Yeah they aren't much of a looker, but they are solid RAM sticks :)

LSD, do you have any input to share on this thread based on what you've read so far?

              Thanks :)

For now, I've set back the CPU clock to the original 2.8 and stock voltages, but I left all the BIOS settings as is, as I wait for your recommendations.

GFlops look good, Have you tried running Prime95 blend torture?
                    Try MCH Reference 0.74, 0.72, 0.7.

Haven't tried P95 yet as this was just a preliminary test to check the CPU's stability, I'll try it again with MCH reference lower, I should not touch VTT at this time, correct?

VTT at 1.2 anyway, no need to touch it, just the reference.
Static tRead Value is aoto i believe and set 0(disabled). After you get more stable set it 10 or 9 and test again.

Tried Vcore 1.3625 (1.344 in CPU-Z) and MCH Ref 0.74, got the same error in IBT... GFlops were 47... failed on the second pass

try 0.8 then see if it's better if not set MCH reference default and try the CPU reference.
