Gigabyte's page GIGABYTE - Motherboard - BGA FT1 - GA-E350N-USB3 (rev. 1.0) lists the GA-E350N-USB3 as having "Dolby Home Theater Support".
Does this mean it can do Dolby Digital encoding, and hence pass 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio from it's SPDIF port (I believe this is called Dolby Digital Live) ?
I've got an older amp with no HDMI input, and no Analogue input - it's 5.1 support is limited to DD or DTS through SPDIF.
