Hi all,
I was unable to find this directly answered already, so I figured I would ask. I have a GA-P35-DS3P rev 2.0 motherboard and 4 gigs of RAM already. I added some Mushkin enhanced 996612 PC2-8500 RAM (2 sticks that should be 2 gigs each) with not so great results. Basically, bios is only seeing 1 gig of each stick. Both sticks in there show up as 6gigs of RAM total and cause some serious instability in Windows. If I remove one of the sticks and keep only one I have 5 gigs of RAM, obviously bad. I've tried upping the voltage a bit in the bios for the memory, but even giving it 2.2 and the (G)MCH + .1 or + .2 doesn't seem to have any effect. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks
