I have a Gigabyte motherboard. How do I register it for warranty? No warranty card, nothing in the manual that I can find. Don't see anything on Gigabyte site.
Re: How do I register the motherboard for warranty?
Harryh, Heres the response Gigabyte sent me when I Emailed them with same question:(quote)
Hello,
Gigabyte mother board has no register needs. All motherboards carry a 3 years warranty from the date it was manufactured (according to serial number), products which were purchased within 30 days from invoice will be handled directly from your vendor or dealer, and they will replace motherboard. Over 30 days please log on our online RMA service rma_index go to end-user click on add new request fillout RMA request form click on submit, our RMA depart. will assign RMA# and shipping instruction by email. wibujo
Re: How do I register the motherboard for warranty?
They are pretty good about RMA too, quick and easy. If you ever have to RMA and run into any issues let me know and I'll see if I can get them sorted out for you.
Normally RMA takes 14-21 days to get a board back, depending on where you live (From CA), how busy they are, and what they have to fix on the board.
Re: How do I register the motherboard for warranty?
X79 Boards have a warranty of 5 years if you register the board.
Currently the only place I have found to register the board is though an Advertisement on their Home page.
Re: How do I register the motherboard for warranty?
you fill in all your details including the mb (or warranty card)serial number, should be printed on the box or the mb itself (or be a warranty card that comes with mb)then register your details

I just purchased a UD5H, then filled in everything, pressed submit and nothing happens. If I press return it goes back to the previous screen with the women on it. Nothing comes up saying I registered?
Re: How do I register the motherboard for warranty?
Tried email, no response, now you cannot even connect to the 5 year warranty page. To bad it looked promising when I first heard about the extended warranty.
