Ahh ok, wasn't sure since you mentioned 4Ghz.

Sounds like a nice stable place to stay for a while, to keep good temps too if that is what you are after. So what did you do with memory, still 1600 or less with tighter timings?

      Re: Qx9650 + P45T extreme

yeah i'll stay here as its a comfy volt/temp/speed range jumping to 3.8ghz is too big a jump..... 1.28v for 3.6ghz with memory at 1440mhz 6-7-6-20, static t-read 5, any tighter and i start throwing garbage which gets me kicked from bfbc2 LOL and the whole lot idles at 34,37,36,39 and the whole shebang hits 48,49,48,52 with prime 95 :)

( thats with the 5850 at 900/1200 and bumping the pcie to 102 )

              Re: Qx9650 + P45T extreme

Yeah umm hwmonitor reads 5 degrees higher than coretemp XD
Also notice the 5850 gfx running at 900/1200 with only 35 degrees LOL, yeah dice is nice hehe

              Though I gotta tell ya 4.2ghz with 1.45real vcore, 1.60pll, 1.45vtt, 1.4mch failed with bsod 124.. :( how much vtt does this board/chip want :S ...

Next pay I'll get more dry ice and swap the q9550 out of my sons rig and he can have the qx9650... Same volts I reckon I could hit 4.5ghz with the q9550 LOL
