    There should be a way to tell which DIMM give the error by the error address.
    I would start by testting slots 2, 4, and 6 in single 4GB setup then 8GB dual channel setup.

      Could you explain how to read an address to determine which DIMM it belongs to? I don't know anything about that.

        Have you tried the single and dual channel tests?

            Well here's an interesting result.
            I was fed up with trying everything I could think of, and went with the last thing I wanted. Enabling XMP. To my surprise I went from having around 200 errors, down to just 5 (in the first pass). This is good news because I could now rotate RAM around and compare addresses to see if any are bad. As error addresses should change if a bad DIMM is moved. Well before I got to that I tweaked some more settings and right now I'm not getting any errors.

            Hopefully this time it's for real. I just wish there was a clear way of knowing exactly what XMP was doing, because I would rather set those things manually.

              I am also running 2 sets of 6GB sets of memory on a UD7 rev 1 board but at even higher frequencies. This is what I am using for the settings.

              A CPU clock ratio of 23
              Gives a CPU Frequency of 4.37 GHz
              A QPI clock ratio of 36
              QPI Link speed of 6.84 GHz
              Uncore Clock Ratio of 21
              Uncore Frequency of 3990 MHz (This seems to be my bottleneck I cannot go above 4000 MHz)

                You can see what XMP uses with CPU-tweak for the memory timings, and easytune for voltages.
