Hello,
I am having an issue using my memory in my new X58A-UD3R MB and I was wondering if you might be able to assist. I read on a post (http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...dram-size.html) that you said he may be able to tweak voltage settings, etc in order for it to work and I was wondering if you might be able to show me what voltage settings I should change. I haven't changed anything in the BIOS thus far, so everything is factory default. Both memory sticks work just fine by themselves (in the white sockets), but when I put them in together, I get the "Recovering lost DRAM size" error and it reboots. Here are my specs:
Motherboard: X58A-UDR3
Memory: 2x 4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3-1333-PC3-10666 / SPD CL9-9-9-24 / 1.5V
Processor: i7-950 / 3.06 GHz / 8Mb Cache
PSU: 850 Watt Thermaltake TR2 RX
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
If you need any other information, please let me know. Any assistance would be appreciated!
