Hello all! if u got the time to spare just a little help needed: i have gigabyte p35 dq6(bios vers. f9b), intel q9550(e0 stepping), 4x1 gig ocz pc6400(ddr2 800mhz) platinum revision 2(ocz2p800R21G)> http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...2_dual_channel.....
i have question about loadline calibration(sholud i enable it? its on auto now)
i oc'ed cpu to 3.6ghz-and vcore is set to 1.2875v, ddr2 to 2.1v, fsb +0.1v, gmch +0.1v, pci e to +0.1v, and my ddr2 is oced to 850 usin 4-4-4-12 turbo mode....yet i can't have stable overclock at 3.8ghz i think ram timings are the problem(if i use mem multip.1:2 its about 872mhz)so i just need the correct timings(i think)or what other bios tweak??? also i enabled c1estate? should i disable it?
thx in advance, best regards&RESPECT!!!!!! DarkStalker

    Re: intel q9550 and gigabyte p35 dq6

The link you provided leads to a not found page, I believe this is your ram.

Using LLC is realy up to you. It may help decreasing vcore but it is a desputed feature.

Set Performance enhance standard and timing to 5-5-15/18.
Try increasing MCH OverVoltage up to +0.25 and FSB OverVoltage up to +0.2.
More vcore may also be required.

Which strap memory multiplier are you using and what straps are vailable?

If you can post a screen capture of MemSet main and spd(click spd) windows it may help.

Pressing Ctrl+F1 in main BISO screen will reveal 2 more optons in MIT, GTLREF1 & GTLREF2. Tweaking those 2 may be needed at high FSB.

Please use the template in this post to post full settings that are in question.

What kind of stress tests do you run?

        Re: intel q9550 and gigabyte p35 dq6

The memory is rated 1.9-2.1v and has EVP 2.2v. +.05 is low even for DDR-800, don't be afraid yo give it more.
Are the timings below tRAS auto or manually set?
        Ignore the Clock Driving/Skew.
You may want to disable C1E while you looking for a stable OC.
