    UD7 x58 FAN CONTROL ISSUE

    How to adjust a fan level,tryd with fancontrol...nothing.tryd with gigabyte utilites....nothing.
    I have two fans with three pin conectors on each ,i have conected them to four way conectors on MBO ,maybe this is why i have lost fan control.
    I have bought a corsair dominator and he is buzzing at 5000 rpm, I want to lower the noise and rpm.

    intel i7 920 @4.0 mhz + h50 push pull system with gentle typhons 2*
    gskill @ 1600 mhz @ 9 9 9 21 + corsair dominator fan

    look in bios and set fan to voltage

      Still not working.i have h 50 pushh pull system .one cooler is spining at 1150 rpm .another is spinng at 300 rpm according to speed fan.and other two coolers are spinnig at 500 rpm .but corsair dominnator is running at 5000 rpm and it is annoying!!!!!!!!!!!! him i wish to set lower, How to speed them up or slower them, to have right flow in obsidian case.

        where is the dominator plugged in on the mb? try another fan header on the mb as some use less voltage than others so the fan will run slower

          Mbo have 5 fan headers,or 4 ....hmmmmm,i dont see gud, 5970 with articcooling is on the way.blocking the sight.
          h50 have 2 fan - one is conected to cpu fan and runs at 1150 rpm anther at sys fan 2
          but on h50 both fans have three pin connector,on mbo are two four pin connectors.i have tried different possibilities with mbo and NZXT fan controller ,dominator always ran at 5000 rpm , when i play with fan control on NZXT to adjust dominator it shut down ,because NZXT can only control 0 - 1900 rpm fans .
          I need some program ,utility for gigabyte ud7 fan control.

            try cpuid hwmonitor, right click where it says fans pwm and it lets you select manual 0-100% speed

                  yes.It would be nice.UD7 x58 with i7 920 oc @ 4.2 is the best mbo ever seen before for personal usage and more.everything is possible with this mbo. i give for MBO from 1-10, 10++++ ,+ is for design.
