boot menu (f12) issue

Hey Everyone -

So I have the x58a-ud3r v.1 and just updated to F6 bios.

For some reason, I'm having an issue where when i want to use f12 i just get a blinking carrot and it will not proceed.

If i pull the battery to wipe the cmos, i can then go into the boot menu once afterwards, but each folloing time i get the blinking carrot.

any ideas?

is it a beta bios? i would flash back to a latest final bios untill things are fixed,it happened to me with a few bios's and has been fixed now,pm stasio about it too
