too fast, i'm gonna take a shot at it first
        i will post later

but always generate number from 50 - 100 or something like that

        another question

is BIOS F8 good for OC-ing? as mine are F8

You should find the error code from system log. For bios you should ask for someone using same board but I prefer to use latest bioses, your's seems to be a bit old.

Re: Need some help with my EP45-UD3R with Q9550

EDIT: just realized your now using LLC.
( try to loosen your memory timings a bit

            2.00D memory multi
            memory timing: 6-6-6-18
            tRD to 10.

Also there is no need for 1.30v on the MCH. 1.26v is Intels max recommended value )

            ------ Previous post -----
Any reason you have LLC disabled?

It would minimize Vdroop while underload.

This might allow you get to away with lower static Vcore values in the bios.

Where as someone might need 1.26v without LLC
Another might only need 1.24v with LLC enabled.

            Just a thought.

already increase my vcore on 8.5 multi, still go blue on prime......

i'm going to try above suggestion

              thx for reply and info
Look at your multipler its only X6 cause you have that intel energy scaling enabled in the bios. DISABLE THAT. That alone causes instabilites !

Re: Need some help with my EP45-UD3R with Q9550

                9.5 GB/s memory bandwidth.
Try that as a reasonable goal.
MCH voltage ,ive been running full time for 2 years with a minimum of 1.38v in bios(temp c on mch=32-41c approx)
Im not advising anyone to run it that hi just saying thats what I use.
                vdram or memory voltage 2.1-2.2v
                cpu 1.36-1.41V (llc enabled)
pll 1.59v (auto will let it go a lot higher with big fsb
                cpu term 1.4 approx.

advice now is to go for higher cpu v and lower mch,but im pretty much on the figures in my sig.
Ive found a "wall" around 450/1800fsb... for me thats overcome with a change from cas4 to cas 5 timings
Then theres another "wall" at 500/2000 fsb.

the board is deteced as allowing a 4ghz cpu speed

That depends on the multiplier of course.
Anywhere from 450-500cpu ref might beyour "best performance" overclock deping on the fsb speed/cpu speed/memory speed relationship on your machine.
