Is there a reliable ahci driver for the GA-890FXA-UD5?
I did a fresh win 7 install on an intel SSD without the AMD driver and Microsoft installed its own ahci driver.
When I connected a Samsung driver to the blue sata ports, Win 7 initially did not recognise the hard disk. After several reboot and messing with the bios, Win 7 finally recognised the hard disk. Everything was fine for a while then Win 7 suddenly stopped recognising the drive on a cold boot.
I know that there is a "hotfix" to fix the missing drives issue after sleep resume. I tried that "hotfix" but it seems to completely slow down the boot process.
Is there any reliable ahci driver that does not have the missing drive issue and can pass TRIM command to the SSD.
Thanks
