GA-P55-USB3 - What is the difference between Rev 1 and Rev 2? / What is GSATA?

I can't find a detailed, satisfactory answer anywhere.

1) What is the difference between Rev 1 and Rev 2? I can't find this information anywhere.

2) What is GSATA? Is it just simply SATA that comes with the Gigabyte chipset and not the regular SATA that comes on the Intel P55 chipset? What are the differences? Is one better than the other?

GSATA ports are provided by the onboard JMicron controller (rebranded by Gigabyte) their performance is slightly lower than the native SATA ports on the ICH10 controller and you may experience driver issues personally i connect all my drives to the SATA ports first before using the GSATA ones.

as for the revisions idk,usually improved power phases but i have no idea what else
