Hello guys, I would like to ask some questions regarding Dynamic Vcore (DVID)
We know that DVID helps you get lower idle vcore when you OC which I like so I can get lower temps and low power consumption at idle.
My chip VID at default with turbo enabled gives me 1.26875v, I have been using 1.28750v (BIOS) with LLC 1 which gives me 1.248v Load, 1.264v IDLE fine. So I wanted to give a try to DVID. I enabled DVID and I added the correct Value (0.01875v) so I can get the same 1.2875v I was using previously before activating DVID.
My Load vcore is fine, it gives me 1.248v like before but the idle vcore is way to low now, I'm getting 0.960v IDLE which in fact is low and have caused to me stability issue at idle.
The question now is there anyway I can bump my idle vcore without changing the load vcore?
Is is better/safer to keep the Load Line Calibration at Standard when using the DVID?
All power saving features are enabled in bios.
