I'd try setting the MCH Ref properly as I advised, but you will need to try out several amounts of MCH Ref and Vtt

Re: Computer restarting at random times?

Ok, so I tried the MCH ref from 0.68 to 0.84 and the computer still restarts. The lower the voltages, the computer never posted but once it got past 0.70~ then it started to last a couple hours and then when it reached 0.84, it stayed on for a day and a couple hours until it restarted a couple minutes ago. I tried 0.88 and it restarted at the login screen so I'm going to keep it at .84 until I figure out what else to try.

OK this is good progress testing you have done.

What Vtt (Final after MCH Ref change from 1.2) were you using for these tests, and what MCH Voltage?

Re: Computer restarting at random times?

Ah sorry I haven't written back but I have some new information. On Fail-Safe settings and optimized default, the computer still restarts. Also, whenever the computer restarts, the screen that asks me if I want to launch normally or check for issues pops up. Whenever I change my bios to fail-safe or optimized, I can't change the options (ie. use the keyboard) but when I'm in my overclocked settings, I can change the options. One more thing, my computer is on the ground; and I noticed something, whenever theres a tremor in the ground, (ie. brother jumps off the stairs, i sit down in my chair), then the computer has a 100% chance of turning off. When my brother jumped off the stairs just a few minutes ago, the computer turned off and wouldn't turn on, even after power cycling and waiting for 5 minutes. It only turned off after a angrily pounded the top of the case and it magically came back to life lol. My first reaction was mounting screws? Iuno, I'll need to check it out more. I'm done messing with bios and thinking about hardware now maybe.

you have a loose wire somewhere or a loose fitted component, either will cause it to restart/shutdown to protect itself if its shorting, check all memory modules, graphic cards/hdd mb cables and wires, check that there all fully secure and that they dont move around too much
