Hello,
i have a gigabyte ex58-ud3r 1.6 rev. Today i have just purchsased a dawicontrol pcie firewire800 controler. While it is recognised by system and i saw it on device manager, when i plugin my WD FW800 external hard drive and my RME fireface 800 FW sound interface the system freezes. If i reboot and the devices are plugged i can not boot if i unplugged it boots but when i plug em back it freezes. I tried to disable the 1394 on board but it didnt solved the situation. I have downloaded the latest drivers but no luck. What can i do? Is there any posibility the the card pcie itself has problem?
