yesterday I installed extra 4GB of RAM DDR2. I copied for you the details:

I overlocked them with 2.00D = 900 of 800Mhz

Since you are having issues please only use matching memory, take our the Kingmax stick.

You may need to leave Vcore as you had it if lower causes hanging, it will be cooler when you get your new heatsink anyway so you will be fine then

I have followed below steps:
a)
1) Remove Kingmax DDR2 as you suggested ..
2) Restoring Voltage Core to default
3) Rebooting machine, its booting up perfectly
4) Converting Video File, unfortunately it hanged ! ..


b)
1) Increasing Voltage Core to 1.3
2) Reseting DDR2 Voltage to default
3) Rebooting machine, its booting up perfectly

Also I returned 4GB of Kingmax to slots and removed all Kingston and added 0.3v to DDR2 and rebooting the machine.

Dear Lsdmeasap,
New Status and Testing ..

1) I re-fixed all Kingston DDR2 to their slots and removed all Kingmax.
2) I decreased the CPU Frequency to 400 instead of 450. Therefore, the CPU is = 3.2GHz.
3) I selected 2.00D = 800Mhz which is equal to original Memory
4) Times = 5-5-5-18
5) Rebooting the machine
6) Converting is working fine
7) However, according to Core Temp application, the CPU is using between 2.40Ghz and 2.80Ghz only instead of 3.20GHz. Why dear?

How can I solve it so it should use full speed of CPU?

Do you still need suggestions for post #18, or are you going to stick with your configuration in post #20?

Either way you need to set DDR2 voltage manually to1.8-1.85 (Maybe use 1.85-1.9 since you have 6GB), and MCH may be ok at +0.2, but you might need =0.25-0.3

As for your CPU Speeds, you need to disable C1E and EIST in the BIOS, then if you are using Vista or Windows 7 go into control panel, power options, advanced power options for the plan you are using and set Min/max CPU to 100%

The reason your kit looks different is because the US and overseas use different heatsinks for different modules. Those heatsinks you showed a image of are only used on the lesser or budget models here in the US, and not used on 1066Mhz kits or one with better timings.

It's just different depending on where you buy them is all, the kit I linked above is the same as yours just with different heatsink is all.

Not really damaged. Last week, buy a new one because I had I gave to my brother. The new is not going well in games (ghosting) so as to return to the store where purchased (buy online). It is for this reason why I can not use my computer. I guess this problem is solved next week.
