          Keep DMI Data enable/disable
Load CMOS default enable/disable-------------------this where the line should be
          Update BIOS from Drive
          Save BIOS to Drive

"there should be a box that you tick when you flash that has that line"

a box that you tick--where would that be in the menu
          can't seem to see it

            Re: Q-Flash-in GA-EP45-DS3

you can use load optimized defaults in the bios if you cant get it to show in q-flash,it will wipe any overclock settings if you choose to use it,ill take a look at my q-flash see if it shows up in that

update: yes i cansee it on my board, select it press esc and then enter, idk why its not showing on your mb,if you want to clear cmos you can by shorting the pins near the mb battery with a screwdriver or by removing cmos battery for 5-10mins,maybe then it will show up again in q-flash?

                Re: Q-Flash-in GA-EP45-DS3

That line may not be in all BIOSes, only the latest ones, so if you are currently using an older BIOS you may not see it.

It is not important though, you can always load optimized defaults yourself in the MAIN page of the BIOS after you flash, which is suggested anyway.

Also suggested is setting Keep DMI Data to Disabled (Use PgUp/PgDn keys)

The motherboard is but has never been updated ie BIOS flash
just to be sure are you 100% sure that flashing the BIOS will then install this line in the Q-Flash menu

                    Re: Q-Flash-in GA-EP45-DS3

That is why, it would have an old BIOS with old Qflash that probably didn't have this option yet

Yes, the latest BIOS will have that option, but no need to use it though, you can load CMOS defaults manually by choosing load optimized defaults in the MAIN Page of the BIOS then save/apply/reboot
