new 400watt psu in ga-ep45-ds3-memory issue

I just put a crossair 400w psu
I have 1 stick memoery 1 gig and 1 stick 2 gigs
booth are 5300/5400 but diffrent brands


according to software test my hardware only 2 gigs is registering but the properties under my computer on my xp pro says 3.00gb

What does CPU-z show in the memory tab, size section?

Also, what does taskmanager say for total amount of memory (post a image if you are unsure)

That is not an ideal way to run your memory though, you may have better performance using only the 2GB stick
