CPU Vcore .......................... 1.26250V if this is the amount normal uses then set dvid to +0.0925v (you might be able to lower later,or you might need to use more if unstable) = 1.355v total cpu voltage at load
QPI/VTT Voltage .................... 1.175V,i would set to around 1.35v again you might be able to lower later on

use a 21x200 bclk with turbo enabled
use 8x ram multi=1600mhz ram speed
              use 17x uncore freq

try those and see if you have any luck, keep an eye on cpu voltage and core temps under load ect

Sorry for the confusion on that!!

Some BIOSes differ in how that is handled, so it just depends on how your BIOS it setup. You want x21 CPU multi in the end, some BIOSes allow you to directly input that value, with turbo enabled, others only allow x20 and then you enable turbo for x21

you just might need more cpu voltage for 4.2ghz,keep all the same except set dvid to +0.10000v which will give you 1.36250v total cpu voltage

Some CPU's may need 1.35-1.44+ to run 4.2Ghz, it all depends on your CPU. What was your actual stable idle and load voltages for the 3.8Ghz settings mentioned above?

They may not matter, but it should give us a good idea of what you might need for 4.2Ghz. Did you try my suggested settings, or is the amount of Vcore needed the main issue for now so nothing will work until you find that?

I got it working to a point

With what wazza told plus the extra 0.1000 qpi , but when I try to run a Linx test it gives me a lovely BSOD with an error code of 9c , Thats all the time I've had to mess with it .

                        Any Ideas ??
