Hi. I'm considering Raid 0 for the first time.
I already have a 64gb SSD as C drive. I'm thinking of getting another (same model, same firmware, should be identical, old one only bought 4 months ago)
I currently use Acronis to image my C drive, however I've been told it might not work with Raid configs.
So my question is first, how can I image my single drive C drive and restore it to a Raid 0 setup?
And second, I've had a look at the manual but don't totally understand how to set up the Raid. The motherboard bit looks easy (which stripe size though?), but then it assumed you're going to install windows from fresh so you need a raid driver. But what about someone who's going to restore an image first?
Or should I preempt problems by installing raid drivers on my single drive OS, in the hope that when I restore the image to the dual SSD Raid 0 config it will just work? Sorry for beginner questions, but I think getting another 64gb will be more economic than purchasing a new 128gb and having the 64gb sit around doing nothing. Thanks a lot for reading
ps - running win 7
