Re: i5 750 turbo mode always on

Did that yesterday, than he never goes to turbo mode, but issue is that when PC is on idle it won't go on x9 multiplier like he used to go, he just stays on turbo mode

the problem is not turbo mode, problem is that when idle, he dont act like he is idle (suposed to be on x9 multiplier as shown on picture)

What power plan are you choosing in control panel power options? I think you want balanced.

Enable turbo in the BIOS, and then enable C1E and EIST

Re: i5 750 turbo mode always on

Thanks for tip with power, but I have little issue now, when I turn on my PC, and log into windows I need to go to power options and press POWER SAVER to loose turboi mode although it is set to POWER SAVER, and than i just need to pres again on POWER SAVER and turbo throttling is well.

I need to somehow set power saver to be enabled on startup if u understand me :S

Re: i5 750 turbo mode always on

Do you mean in a Gigabyte program, or windows?

If you mean in windows, there should be a "Restore Defaults" option for each plan when you click the change plan settings. Try that and reboot, then see if it is fixed.

IF that is not what you mean, I still think I know what you mean though, tell me why you say you think you needed to do that each time anyway? I mean, what makes you notice that you needed to do it?

How long do you wait and watch it? Sometimes it may take a while before the system thinks it is idle and then downclocks

Cool, ya sometimes the system is just doing stuff in the background that you may not notice and so the board/CPU still think it is not idle fully yet. Nothing to worry about at all
