I think I'll stick with 10.4 then for a while, or maybe 10.5 when I update once I get this review finished up.

I think some G.skills are fine, like the PI's, Trident, Ripjaw's - then some are not like these lesser ones with normal heatspreaders (Red and some Blue)

      skip 10.5 lsd.
      infact, I had issues with 10.4 &.5, only 10.3 + 10.6 have been ok.

Cool, I will skip 10.5 then and move right to 10.6 or wait for 10.7

What issues did you have with 10.4? I noticed sometimes, with some cards, resolution is not help full screen under certain instances, but other cards it would keep just fine. And then that would happen with the opposite cards, so it seemed to be the drivers to me, but I needed to stick with them until I was done with this review so I worked around it. Review is done now though so I can update, about to post it tonight if I get time, if not tomorrow I will get it done.

I had a bunch of HDMI scaling issues, but that turned out to occur with any version. I just found those two versions to perform poorly ingame, I got alot of graphical artifacting in 2D menus in 3D games such as Bioshock 2.
With 10.5 I actually got GPU crashes when uninstalling them. It just seemed to me and a lot of general feedback I read upon release that there was something wrong with both versions. many complained about it (.4 and .5) altering the idle clocks making their cards hotter, this wasn't the case or me as my idle clocks were high already since I used multi monitor. :)

10.6 has been quite good to me so far, still probably has some things that need ironing out, but overall it hasn't given me any particular trouble.

            Now 10.7 is out right?

Haha, my review is posted now a while ago and I am still on 10.4 though :)
