  • Q6600 overclock + GA-EP45-UD3P = EXPLORER.EXE CRASH! HELP!!

    My setup: Q6600 + GA-EP45-UD3P(bios9f) + 8GB (2GB x 4) DDR2 800MHX G.Skill

My problem: Unstable overclock, causes various app crashes including the most frequent explorer.exe and right click function.

My request: help me stabilize my overclock at 3.6 GHZ, which was my goal. I'll settle for 3.5 too.

My BIOS Specs: adjusted for overclock and Vista/ OS X Leopard dual boot are attached

Use a "D" system memory multiplier and increase Vcore. What are you using to test stability and what are your temperatures?

Do you test your RAM also? If you don't, do it.

Well after adjusting to 3.5ghz and 1.385 vcore i blue screened 5 min into CPU stress test. Test app was latest app of everest. what should i change to stop these damn blue screens??

where is the renowned and intriguingly named LSDMEASAP???
