  • bios changes for sli

    Hi
I just recently installed my second bfg gtx285 and I have been getting random bsod's or flashes to black screen issues
I have installed the 196.21 and 196.34 drivers after using driver sweeper
didn't know if there were any changes to the bios I needed to make

Looks like a power problem to me, although on paper you should be in good shape. Can one assume the machine works perfectly with either of the video cards installed just by itself? Other possibility is ambient temp in the case is high enough with both video cards to cause problems for the RAM. If you remove the side panel and point a desk fan in the general direction of the motherboard you can test that possibility.
