    Re: tRFC Memory Question

If it is set by auto it is set according to manufacturer spec that are programed to SPD.
However, usually much lower is possible (close to tRFC for DDR-800) with the higher voltage that is required for higher DDR rates.

Of course there is no point changing it if there is no gain in bandwitdh or lower latencies.

      Re: tRFC Memory Question

If you post the information from steps 2, 3 and 4 from this post, we can help you optimize your bios settings for maximum memory performance.

Have you run any stability/stress tests with your current setup? If yes, which tests and how long did each test run?

        Re: tRFC Memory Question

A tRC (Row Cycle Time) of 72 seems high to me though. I can run my DDR3 on 1333Mhz with a tRC of 27 (24h Prime95 'Blend' stable). Default is 33 for me (OCZ3G1600LV4GK).

/edit: oops, you were talking about tRFC..
