  • anyone is able to use DVID without problems with latest x58 bioses?

Hello, I upgraded to latest bios F4 and I tried to use DVID for the first time but I get random freezes at windows desktop in idle mode. I can run anything under load fine, prime passed 6hours and linx passed 2h, also passed complete 4 passes memtest 4.0 without errors. I was using the bios F2 before which hasn't the DVID and PC didn't freeze before in idle and has been running fine for 2 weeks with F2.

i think it lowers it too much when idle causing it to freeze, have you got c1e and eist enabled? have you tried with them disabled?

Yes I have C1E and EIST enabled, I think they should be enabled to get DVID to work.
If I try to add the DVID + Value, it up my load vcore too which is over my needs.

i would flash back to f2 if its causing problems, i know ive had to go go back to an older bios a few times as some newer ones causes crashes.dvid might be added to support the new 32nm i9 chips..maybe newer bios's will make it more stable for i7
