  • GA-P55A-UD3P Random restarts

Hey guys. I just built a system with the following specs:
    GA-P55A-UD3P v1.0 F4
    i5 - 750
    4GB 2 x 2GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 9-9-9-24 1.65v Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3
    Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650-Watt
    Radeon HD 5750
    Western Digital 1 TB
    Win 7 x64

The first couple of days it ran fine for about 3 hours, then I started to get random shutdowns. Sometime the computer boots to Windows, then turns off after 10 minutes, others before getting to windows, and sometimes the power comes on, fans spin for a couple of seconds, then turns off. I have tried with only 1 stick of mem, but same result.

My BIOS settings are as follows:
    Code:

try setting your qpi voltage to 1.250000 and set system performance enhance to standard, also manually type in your ram timings select quick and enter what there specced at 8-8-8-24 ect

      Re: GA-P55A-UD3P Random restarts

Tried with qpi voltage to 1.250000, system performance set to standard, and ram timings at 8-8-8-24 ect. It worked fine for about 4 days, with no issues at all.
Suddenly yesterday the random restarts started again. Initially I got an error in the BIOS that said something like due to overclocking the system had become unstable. After another couple of random restarts I got a BIOS checksum error, and it started recovering. Once recovered, I still get restarts that keep my computer on anywhere from 2 seconds to 5 minutes.

Tried updating to F6, same results. Any clues?
