I have 2 sets of PATRIOT 6GB Kit (3 x 2GB) 2000Mhz DDR3 8-8-8-24 Viper Low Latency momory modules installed on my X58A-UD7, but when i load the xms profile (the 2000 mhz) the bios only sees 4gb of RAM (not 12gb). When i set the memory speed to default (1066mhz) it sees all 12 gb. How can i make it so that my pc sees 12gb on high DDR speeds?

Often when you're using all DIMM slots the RAM won't work at the same fast settings that will work when using half the DIMM slots. So it's possible that your 12GB just won't run at that speed when you're using all of it. Usually this leads to instability though, the fact that your system works but only uses 4GB is very strange indeed.
Try some manual settings like 1600/1866 CL8 and see if those will work correctly.

Did you try both kits seperately (using only 3 sticks) with the XMS profile?

best to set ram manually,go in bios and raise memory multiplier to give you 2000mhz or close to speed, raise ram voltage to 1.66,set system performance enhance to standard...you might need 1.35000 qpi voltage with 12gb of ram
