I can get into Bios-but keyboard not active at Bio Q Flash-Active in Bios-lights up-Caps lights up

PSU-Thermaltake 600-650 true watts-Case X aluminum-4 80mm fans
Floppy
HD-Sate 7200 rpm Seagate Barracuda-NIB have 2 test with

I have replaced once with Intel mobo fixed issue. I had enough NIB parts to build another & try-fix mobo related? Issues

Condition-Everything but Video Card NIB-NIB video card EVGA-GT 9500 512mb DDR2 solid older card NIB

Tried
Removing mobo isolated-checking for shorts-Non stand-offs in wrong place-marked from top-checked


Removed Floppy-Burner-componets 1 by 1 still no boot.

XP on new drive Booted lasted 5 seconds BSOdeath and reboot no time to read error code.

At first would not recognize burner-Tried 3 NIB burners jumpered all 3 positions-M-S-A-See drive now

CPU-HS-Removed checking with magnifying glass non overheated-no CPU cracks-put back with Artic Silver

Ran house fan on mobo-checking overheating mobo--No go

Tried memory Voltage-1.6V-Set memory timing 7-7-7-20 no go

What happened to simplicity...=^(

Is it a PS2 or USB?

1.5 Volt I see-Timing too..tried 7-7-7-20-Had it stable once for less than hour-then bam no changes hardware-software at all. played Halo multiplayer then it went. CPU temps low-VC never tried overclocking. Standard on Bios-Non Turbo. Reads 2.93 Ghz

Says here it's CL 9. Are there voltage specs for LC 8?

Try a PS/2 keyboard or using USB to PS/2 adapter. USB need USB Function enabled in BIOS to work I think.
Load BIOS optimized defaults, save & reboot, enter BIOS M.I.T and make the following changes:
Performance Enhance standard.
MCH Core 1.2-1.24v (begin low go higher only if needed. If more voltage doesn't work, try 1.05-0.95v.
DRAM Voltage 1.5-1.6v.

Unbelievable! Fixed!
I'd never guessed it, NIB Plextor drive spin up and weird sound then nothing. Drives gone..but on happier note, looked at disc with magnifying glass distorted looking area. New drive hit area bam restart. SP2 disc XP

I have another disc SP1 loaded it up and good as new..Never guessed corrupted dat disc.. Once I'm happy something failed to find cause.
