1giga of ram missing GAX58-UD4P

hello everybody

I have a strange issue with My GAX58-UD4P and my ram

I have 3 stick of OCZ PC1500 reaper that populate my white slot on the motherboard.
The bios states that I have only 2 giga
I tried the blue slot , the PC won't boot

In the RAM option in the bios I can select the CAS, and other option for 3 sticks (channel A,B and C)
When I am under windows 7 it state that I have 3 giga installed but 2 only usable
on CPU-Z I can see that the slot 1, 3 and 5 are populated with the OCZ stick.
Evrest also state that I have 3 stick installed.

So where is my third giga of memory ?

I didn' pay attention when the issue occur (at a bios update maybe dono)
I tried the last beta bios F10M and go back to the F10K but same issue I don't have my 3 giga of ram under windows and the bios also state only 2giga.
I have win 7 32Bit
GTX260+ with 800 mega of ram

can you help me to find where i lost my 1 giga of ram ?

test each white slot with just one stick of ram installed,go through each slot it should boot from any white slot with one stick in,next test every stick one at a time,its either a faulty ram slot or a dead ram module

I will try that
but coumld it be possible that a fried ram could be detected ? or a dead slot could detect a ram
because see my picture here under
each slot a filled with a stick ddetected correctly and my system say 3 giga installed but only 2 usable
could it be only a limitation or something like that ?

it should show 3 gb as 3gb not 3gb(2gb)usable,even with a 32bit operating system,test the way ive shown you then you will know for sure if its faulty ram or ram slot,it wont boot up pc if it finds a faulty stick/slot

I tried one by one and finally found one stick that does not boot up

what is strange is that this stick if installed is detected but not working how could it be ?

I just have to RMA ocz

yes it will sometimes detect it but its still faulty,best to rma it,try n put a sticker on the faulty module and tell them that its that one thats faulty
