Curious to know what changes were made to the board.

    Thanks.

      Impatient are you.

Quick browse on the GB site spots:
"12. Meet European Union EuP(Energy-using Products) requirement"
on the rev. 1.1. Probably some minor tweak.

Assuming you've used the comparison tool thus:

GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Comparison Sheet

there are no spec differences, so the revision (being x.1 rather than 2.x etc.) is likely to be a minor engineering revision (something as subtle as a change from Foxconn to Lotes or Tyco LGA socket). There will be no way of determining what it is from Gigabyte either...

        What's the reason for asking?

It fell off the first page so quickly. And there are so many Gigabyte experts here, you'd think someone might know the answer. :)

LanceH: I'm about to purchase one and wanted to know if the revision contained any changes important enough that it would be important to ensure I get a v1.1.

          Thanks.

I would get 1.1 - something has been "updated" and that may well be the CPU socket....
